Global Warming

Two days ago, a stranger in the refectory asked me when the Sahara would arrive in Germany. I couldn’t tell him, but he knew that this was going to happen about 2050, which he obviously had found out after calculating the temperature difference between now and a year ago.

I am now looking at my photos from last year and hoping that there’ll soon be some snow around here to prove him wrong.

In other news, not much has happened during the last months. I did two excursions to the German Legoland (before my annual ticket expired), my subway line is now going straight through to the faculty buildings, my orchestra had another concert, and of course there was the Christmas holidays.
